Physical Education Teacher

Denise Pettigrew received her B.S. in Physical Education from the University of North Alabama in 1987. She served as an elementary P. E. teacher in the Madison County School System in Huntsville, Alabama for over 33 years. After retirement she moved to Wisconsin to be closer to her daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters. Prior to joining Valor, Denise spent one year as a substitute teacher at Valley Christian Schools. Denise loves seeing the excitement and accomplishment in her students’ eyes when they learn and master a new skill in class. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her granddaughters, taking walks with her family, working out at the YMCA, and exploring new places in Wisconsin. She is a member of His Church World Outreach and enjoys serving there as a preschool/kindergarten teacher, as well as other outreach ministries.
